Linda Hügel grew up in Berlin, where she gained her first theatre experience at the Junges Deutsches Theater Berlin.
From 2017 to 2019, she performed in “Klassenbuch”, directed by Kristo Šagor.
She studied psychology in Berlin from 2016 to 2019, and acting at the Zurich University of the Arts from 2019 to 2023.
From 2023 to 2025, she performed in productions at the Fabriktheater Zürich (Oh! Darling), the Theater Winkelwiese Zürich (netzwerk wildi blaatere) and the Roxy Birsfelden (netzwerk wildi blaatere). In 2024, she took part in the ‘Inkubator’ at the Fabriktheater Zürich.
She has worked as a resident assistant director at the Schauspielhaus Zürich since the 2024/25 season, assisting Leonie Böhm, Selen Kara, Lilja Rupprecht, Nicolas Stemann and Martin Zimmermann.
In the 2024/25 season, she will present her first directorial work at the Schauspielhaus Zürich, where she stages the world premiere of Johanne Lykke Holm's STREGA.
