Theatre for everyone – no German required! The Schaupielhaus Zürich presents outstanding theatre and great storytelling from the past and the present. Alongside renowned classics, you can discover many new plays by international contemporary authors.
For our multilingual and international audiences, as well as residents from abroad and visitors to Zurich from across the globe, the Schauspielhaus Zürich offers a special service: many performances at the Pfauen and the Schiffbau feature surtitles in English, French or Italian. The corresponding dates are highlighted in our monthly programme and can also be found online.
The surtitles are usually clearly visible from all seats. For further information, please speak to our staff at the box office.
