STÜTZLIWÖSCH SUPERTRANS TRE

STÜTZLIWÖSCH SUPERTRANS TRE

by Kay Matter
Commissioned by the Schauspielhaus Zürich
DIRECTED BY: Sarah* Claire Wray

PFAUEN KAMMER
WORLD PREMIERE TRE: 31.01.2026

1 hour (no interval)

Following the horny ending of DUE, TRE emerges from the darkness: post-apocalyptic, sexy and scary as fuck. Belbuio seems to have been abandoned by the saints. Men suddenly disappear, and the characters we had grown attached to appear to be possessed. The two-part romantic comedy finally takes a turn, and is swallowed up by the thriller. Under the Monster’s glowing eyes, lovers Matteo and Santo meet again and again – or perhaps finally, for real? In order for the villagers to be able to sleep peacefully, the grandmothers organise a hunt. Will Belbuio become an arena of desire and persecution? Will Matteo and Santo manage to find each other again? And will father, son and Chihuahua finally be reunited?

In this third instalment of the theatre series written for the Schauspielhaus by the young Swiss star author, Kay Matter, we reach the spectacular grand finale of this extremely humorous yet profound father-son story.
