Sarah* Claire Wray

Sarah* Claire Wray, born in 1993 in Cologne, discovered her passion for film and theatre while studying architecture. She completed internships at Schauspiel Frankfurt, Thalia Theater, and Kampnagel in Hamburg, and worked as an assistant director at the Oldenburg State Theatre. Since 2017, Sarah* Claire Wray has lived in Berlin and studied directing at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts from 2017 to 2022.

Her work spans theatre plays, screenplays, poetry, and short prose. Her play Dreckskinder oder Der Versuch einer Zukunft premiered in 2020 at the Roter Salon of the Volksbühne Berlin. She was a screenwriter for the series Schwarze Früchte (ARD) and wrote, directed, and produced the short film HDGDL for the Nationaltheater Mannheim. For SWR, she directed the audio play Doppeltreppe zum Wald.
