From 28 May to 7 June 2026, the Blickfelder Festival invites children, young people and school classes to marvel, participate and discover. Dance, theatre, concerts, exhibitions and interactive art projects await you. At the Schiffbau, the festival will present two plays: Preparing for a Miracle and Regiert euch! During Zurich Art Weekend, Zurich becomes a meeting point for the international art scene and Schauspielhaus Zürich is right at the centre of it: with the OPENING NIGHT PARTY at Schiffbau, performances of ARE YOU READY TO DIE? and MONSTER, as well as talks, workshops, and the panel STIMMEN AUS DEM IRAN exploring the intersection of art, theatre, and politics.

The production HEKABE has been invited to the Swiss Theatre Festival as one of the year’s outstanding productions and will be performed in Théâtre Vidy-Lausanne on 29 May 2026.

In the world premiere of MONSTER by Anta Helena Recke, Maxi Menja Lehmann and Anna Froelicher, a multi-layered world emerges at the intersection of dream, play and reality, in which questions of identity, origin and belonging can be experienced through the senses and are constantly shifting.
