1 hour 50 minutes (no interval)

At the end of a night of revelry, two siblings, whose close childhood relationship was abruptly shattered by a drama, experience a special moment of closeness. After twenty years, they're finally able to understand the systemic breakdown that enabled this traumatic event. Now, with a newfound capacity for feeling and analysis, the two adults begin to envision a possible course of action and, with it, a future.

In her latest work, director and choreographer Gisèle Vienne continues her equally moving and rigorous deconstruction of the perceptual system within its socially shaped narrative and psychological structures. To do this, she collaborates with performers and dancers Katia Petrowick, Adèle Haenel, and Theo Livesey to explore the archaeology of a moment of very particular sensation. She invents an artistic language that allows for the unfolding of perceptive layers of present experience: past, present, anticipated future, memory, and desire.

The extremely dense choreographic piece follows a finely branched score, consisting of the performers' interplay, Caterina Barbieri's music, Adrien Michel's sound design, and Yves Godin's lighting.

The result is a unique stage language where sensory experiences create spaces of possibility for thoughts and words.
