Kelvin Kilonzo

Kelvin Kilonzo, born in Mombasa (KE), is a multidisciplinary performance artist living in Cologne. As a performer, he is known for his collaborations with Anne Imhof, Lemohang J. Mosese and Pan Daijing. As a dancer, he has worked with Neon Dance (UK), Mouvoir Company (DE), Sasha Waltz (DE) and many others.   

His work moves at the intersection of performance and video art, which is particularly characterized by the performance project SUM in long-term collaboration with musician, composer, and performer Pablo Giw. Together with video artist Maurits Boettger, SUM created the film ‚Dyschronia‘, which premiered at the Julia Stoschek Foundation Berlin in 2023. 

He is also an award-winning actor who made his debut at the Berlinale in 2017 in Martin Hawie's “TORO” and most recently received an award for his performance in Christoph O. Strunck's “The Third King” at the Revolution ME Festival New York. In the 2025/26 season, he was part of the ensemble at Schauspiel Köln.
