Kathy Etoa, born in Cameroon and raised in Bern, initially trained in the insurance industry before devoting herself to acting. She gained her first stage experience at various independent theatres in Bern. She has been studying acting at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin since 2024.
She took on the leading role in the feature film Der totale Traum, which premiered at the Hofer Filmtage in 2025. She also appeared in the series Angemessen Angry, which was honoured with the Grimme Prize 2025 and the German Series Award 2024, among others. Last year, Kathy Etoa also appeared in front of the camera for a Netflix film directed by Markus Goller.
