Johanna Benrath (she/her) is a theatre director based in Zurich and completed her studies in directing at the Zurich University of the Arts (2017–2020). Prior to that, she studied art history, literature and theatre studies at the Free University of Berlin (2012–2017) and, since 2024, she has been pursuing an Executive Master's degree in Arts Administration at the University of Zurich. She works both in the independent scene and at municipal theatres and has also been a lecturer since 2023.
