The donkey, the dog, the cat and the rooster have grown old and are to be driven off the farm. So the four animals decide to make a run for it and set off for Bremen. They want to become town musicians. But on the way to Bremen, a surprise test awaits the four intrepid creatures. They encounter a dangerous band of robbers...
