Víctor Longás (born 1998 in Villanueva de Gállego, Zaragoza) is a set designer and theatre director based in Madrid. He studied set design at RESAD and later completed a Master’s degree in Art and Creation Research at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. As a set and lighting designer, he has worked internationally with artists and companies including Marina Otero, Agrupación Señor Serrano, Ernesto Caballero and Club Caníbal, and presented productions at major theatres and festivals across Europe. Since 2021, he has been developing his artistic practice through the company Desgarradura, creating performances that combine theatre, visual arts and installations. Alongside Lucas Ares, he has produced works including “Díptico de Verónica”, “Criadas”, “El poder: Live-Theater der spanischen Prostituierten”, and “The Miracle Worker”. His work explores the relationship between image, space, movement and the body, thereby creating stage languages that move between visual art and performance.
His first production as a set designer at the Schauspielhaus Zürich is MAGIC KINGDOM by Álvaro Nogales and Adrián Perea, presented in the 2026/27 season.
