Víctor Longás

Víctor Longás (born 1998 in Villanueva de Gállego, Zaragoza) is a set designer and theatre director based in Madrid. He studied Set Design at RESAD and later completed a Master’s degree in Art and Creation Research at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

As a set and lighting designer, he has collaborated internationally with artists and companies including Marina Otero, Agrupación Señor Serrano, Ernesto Caballero, and Club Caníbal, presenting work at major theatres and festivals across Europe.

Since 2021, he has developed his own artistic practice through the company Desgarradura, creating performances that combine theatre, visual arts, and installation. Together with Lucas Ares, he has created works such as 'Díptico de Verónica', 'Criadas', 'El poder: Live-Theater der spanischen Prostituierten', and 'The Miracle Worker'.

His work explores the relationship between image, space, movement, and the body, creating stage languages that move between visual art and performance.

His first work as a set designer at Schauspielhaus Zürich is MAGIC KINGDOM by Álvaro Nogales and Adrián Perea in the season 2026/2027
