Anne Greta Weber

Anne Greta Weber, born in Berlin in 1985, is an actress, performance artist, and lecturer. After studying Cultural Studies at the European University Viadrina and completing her acting training at the Academy of Performing Arts Baden-Württemberg, she worked at numerous municipal and state theatres, including Schauspiel Stuttgart, Theater Konstanz, Volkstheater Rostock, and Theaterhaus Jena.

She is also active in independent collectives such as Vajswerk, Delirious Productions, and Wunschmaschinen, and is a member of the band Die Träume. Her work in acting, performance, choreography, and dramaturgy has been presented at venues including Theater Thikwa, Schauspiel Köln, the Münchner Kammerspiele, Schauspielhaus Graz, and Theater unterm Dach in Berlin. She has worked with directors including Hannes Weiler, Jana Eva Thönnes, and Christiane Pohle. She has also appeared in film and television productions for Netflix, ZDF, and ARTE.

Since 2020, she has taught at various universities and academies, leads the ensemble’s acting training at Theater Thikwa, and serves as a mentor in the Acting program at the Academy of Performing Arts Baden-Württemberg. Her artistic residencies have taken her to Iceland, Heidelberg, and Berlin. Her work has received several awards, including the Günther Rühle Prize.
