Emilia Häcki studied industrial and product design at the Basel Academy of Art and Design and undertook an internship with the London-based shoe designer Sophia Webster whilst she was studying. After graduating, she designed shop windows and pop-up stores for European department stores and brands such as Steen & Strøm, Magasin du Nord, Yves Saint Laurent and Christian Dior. For the Materials Archive at Zurich University of the Arts, she researched innovative materials and developed exhibition concepts.
At the Schauspielhaus Zürich, Emilia worked as a stage design assistant on the production MONSTER (by Anta Helena Recke, Maxi Menja Lehmann and Anna Froelicher) and has been a permanent stage design assistant since the 2026/27 season. Emilia’s style is characterised by her love of crazy ideas and her particular strength in the areas of colour, materials and finishes.
