Sonya Sofiia Suldina studied in her home country of Ukraine in Kiev. In 2012, she moved to Switzerland and transferred to Sebastian Hamann's class at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts – Music, where she completed her master's degree in 2015. Since then, she has been furthering her education in the Lucerne master's programme ‘Interpretation of Contemporary Music’. In September 2015, Sofia Suldina won first prize at the Concours Nicati. She performs as a guest with Klangforum Wien, Basel Sinfonietta and at various festivals and projects in Switzerland and other European countries. Sofia Suldina is a scholarship holder of the Fondation Irène Dénéréaz and the Fondation Nicati-de Luze and a member of Ensemble Ö!, Ensemble Korf's and Kubus Kollektiv.
