Trude Mészár began studying cello in Saarbrücken with Prof. Ulrich Voss. She completed her Master of Arts degree in Lucerne and her Master of Education degree in Bern with Prof. Louise Hopkins. With the Kubus Quartet, she has realised interdisciplinary projects with the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company and composer and director Ruedi Häusermann, and has played in numerous world premieres. As a cellist, she can be heard in other chamber music ensembles such as the Kubus Kollektiv, the Pelion Duo, and the Le Beau Ensemble, as well as on theatre stages. Her CD of song and chamber music works was recently released on the classical label Naxos/Oehms.
