Liese Mészár initially completed her studies in Saarbrücken, before moving to Switzerland to continue her training at the Lucerne School of Music. She now lives with her family in Basel. In the Kubus Quartet, Liese Mészár deepened her passion for contemporary music and the viola. She currently plays viola in the Kubus Kollektiv and violin in the 21st Century Orchestra, among other ensembles. She places particular emphasis on interdisciplinary projects in collaboration with other arts and artists. She has worked with Ruedi Häusermann on numerous occasions. She teaches at four music schools in Aargau.
