Richard Opoku-Agyemang, aka RAZZMATAZZ, born in Dortmund in 1984, is not only an experienced DJ and music producer, but also an SND designer. In addition, RAZZMATAZZ is a co-founder of the Rekorder Collective, an independent organization that supports and promotes the vibrant music culture in Dortmund.
RAZZMATAZZ hosts the popular VIBRATE parties, where he curates captivating music experiences for enthusiasts and music lovers alike. He also DJs the premiere after-show party Deep Rhythm at Schauspielhaus Dortmund, ensuring that the energy and rhythm lasts deep into the night.
In his DJ sets, RAZZMATAZZ effortlessly mixes different styles of music from soulful house and tech-knock tracks to the soulful melodies of high life, afrobeat and disco, and also incorporates hip hop, soul, funk and rare groove elements. The result is a sonic journey that encompasses a broad spectrum of rhythmic influences, captivating the audience and leaving them wanting more.
At Schauspielhaus Zürich, RAZZMATAZZ will compose the music for the Zurich directorial debut (WHAT YOU’LL FIND)ON THE WAY TO BECOMING by US duo Ta-Nia in the 2025/26 season.
