Lukas Rathjen studied archaeology, history, and philosophy in Hamburg, Freiburg, and Zurich, and earned his doctorate in 2025 from ETH Zurich. He then served as a lecturer at ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich. Since early 2026, he has been working as an assistant dramaturg at the Schauspielhaus Zurich.
