Rose Reiter

Rose Reiter, born in 1987 in Munich, studied Psychology, German Literature, and Cultural Studies at Humboldt University in Berlin, as well as Dramaturgy at the Theaterakademie August Everding in Munich. During her studies, she worked as an assistant at the Berliner Ensemble, the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, and Theater Bremen. As a freelance dramaturge, she worked at venues including the Rationaltheater in Munich. From 2015 to 2017, she was a dramaturgy assistant and production dramaturge at the Residenztheater in Munich. This was followed by six years as a dramaturge at the Münchner Volkstheater, where she collaborated with Pınar Karabulut, among others, and helped shape the artistic direction of the theatre’s new building in the Schlachthof district. Since 2024, she has been part of the preparation team and, with the beginning of the new artistic directorship, is a permanent dramaturge at the Schauspielhaus Zürich.
