Lina Sofie Staudinger, born in 1998, studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart and stage design/scenic space at the Technical University of Berlin.
She designs clear concepts with a sensual, often body-related materiality that combines space, movement and identity.
Through a performative approach, she shifts perspectives that make political issues visible.
During her scenographic work at Studio Alex Valder, she was involved in interdisciplinary projects for Humboldt University in Berlin and the Humboldt Forum, among others.
Her own work as a stage and costume designer has been created at the Künstler:innenhaus Mousonturm Frankfurt, the Rabbit Hole Theater in Essen, the Salzburger Landestheater and in the independent scene, among others.
Since the 2025/26 season, she has been a permanent stage design assistant at the Schauspielhaus Zürich.
