Aina Rea Aliotta’s artistic and cultural mediation practice explores multiple belongings and transnational forms of remembering. As a cultural mediator, Aina Rea has worked with institutions including the Bernisches Historisches Museum and the Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst.
They toured internationally as a performer with Monster Chetwynd, followed by a role in the production UNBOXING at Schauspielhaus Zürich. As part of ZHdK’s «What’s Next_Compass 2025/26» scholarship, Aina developed a lecture-performance exploring the history of migrant guest workers.
Since then, exhibitions and performances have included Villa Renata (BS), Theater Basel, Galerie Durchgang (BS), Magadino Art Department (TI), Zurich Art Weekend 2025 and 2026, Atelier Righini Fries Zurich, Kunsthalle Wil (SG), Zürcher Theaterspektakel, Schauspielhaus Zürich and Cabaret Voltaire (ZH).
