Linda Hügel was born and raised in Berlin. During her youth, she appeared in various productions at the DT Jung. She went on to study psychology in Berlin (2016–2019) and drama at the Zurich University of the Arts (2019–2023).
From 2023 to 2025, she performed in productions at the Fabriktheater Zürich, the Theater Winkelwiese Zürich and the ROXY Birsfelden. Since 2024, she has worked as a permanent assistant director at the Schauspielhaus Zürich, assisting Leonie Böhm, Selen Kara, Pınar Karabulut, Lilja Rupprecht, Marie Schleef and Nicolas Stemann.
In 2025, as part of the ‘Long Night of the Assistants’, she directed the world premiere of the novel STREGA by Johanne Lykke Holm at the Schauspielhaus Zürich.
In 2027, she will make her directorial debut with DIE WELLEN, based on the novel by Virginia Woolf, at the Schauspielhaus Zürich.
