Karin Pfammatter

Walliserin, has performed at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg, the Schaubühne Berlin, the Münchner Kammerspiele, the Burgtheater Wien and at the Staatstheater Stuttgart. She has worked with directors such as Karin Beier, Thomas Ostermeier, Roger Vontobel, Nicolas Stemann, Yana Ross, Alexander Giesche, Trajal Harrell and Barbara Weber. She has played roles such as Penthesilea, Lady Macbeth, Joan of Arc, Robespierre, Franklin D. Roosevelt and Joseph Goosevelt. Roosevelt and even Joseph Goebbels did not spare her. She has been working at the Schauspielhaus Zürich since 2019 and regularly works for film and TV, for example in the new Zurich Tatort directed by Viviane Andereggen in 2020 or in the film BAGGER DRAMA by Piet Baumgartner, which won an award at the 72nd Festival International de Cine de San Sebastián in autumn 2024. She has also appeared as Inspector Laura Martini in the ARD radio drama Tatort since 2022.
