Perle Palombe

Perle Palombe, born in 1980 in Aix- En-Provence, received a scholarship to attend the National Theatre School in Strasbourg from 2002 to 2005. Since many years she works in Paris as a freelance actress in contemporary theatre. Palombe was last seen in Marion Lecrivain theatrical work in collaboration with Sundance Institute in Sarah Kane’s Crave at the Theater de la Villette - Paris, she had the leading role in the movie Rituel 1: l'anniversaire by Louise Hemon that was screened at Hors Pistes festival at the Centre Pompidou in Paris. In 20018/2019 she was part of Mirabelle Rousseau's new piece Tables tournantes, she performed for the director Gwenaël Morin in Re Paradise at Philippe Quesne’s theatre Nanterre Amandiers in Paris and she was seen in Séance de travail by Trajal Harrell at Schauspielhaus Bochum. The last years she performed, danced and toured in several of Trajal Harrell's pieces including The conspiracy in 2013, The ghost of Montpellier meets the samurai in 2015, and Caen Amour in 2016. Before coming to Zurich she will premiere in July 2019 at Manchester International Festival in Trajal Harrell’s Maggie the cat which is the second part of his big trilogy Porca Miseria – the third part The Deathbed of Katherine Dunham will be world premiered in Zurich in spring 2020.
