Leo Luchini

Leo Luchini is a music producer, songwriter and performing artist based in Berlin. Working primarily with text and performance, his 2018 EP Tears Behind My Shades challenges patriarchal norms by confronting male emotional vulnerability. Followed by a string of shows in New York, Japan, Puerto Rico and all over Europe, he was the recipient of the 2019 Amplify Residency in Berlin. He has just released COLOCADA , a rap/reggaeton EP with Argentinian artist Brava Blings, and THIS FAR THRU, a theatrical EP where he acts out his own inner-demons. The underlying signature of his projects is pitting popular music against experimental tropes through concept- or narrative-oriented performances. Luchini has worked with artists such as Robyn, Ms. Boogie, Moesha 13 and Countess Malaise and at institutions such as the ICA [London], Northside Festival [National Sawdust, NYC], Torstrassen Festival [Volksbühne, Berlin], Saatchi Gallery [London], UK Music Video Awards [Roundhouse, London] and Bold Tendencies [London] among others. Currently, he is training in acting, developing stage concepts with choreographer Kianí Del Valle and programming at multidisciplinary arts venue Trauma Bar und Kino, Berlin.
