Peter Hüttenmoser was born in St. Gallen in 1964. After training as a painter's foreman, completing a commercial apprenticeship and working for several years at a newspaper publisher in Cambodia, he studied business administration at the FHS St. Gallen and then worked as an auditor at a leading auditing and consulting firm.
At the beginning of the 2007/08 season, Peter Hüttenmoser moved to the Schauspielhaus Zürich as Head of Finance, where he has been Administrative Director since August 2011.
