He has been firmly established in Hamburg's cultural and music scene since the late 1990s, where he has been active in a variety of creative fields. Originally active as a DJ, producer and label operator, he has increasingly turned his attention to film since 2010. In addition to directing work for bands such as FETTES BROT and FEINE SAHNE FISCHFILET, he has increasingly focused on his work as a set designer. Here, he has designed sets for TOCOTRONIC, DEICHKIND and DIE ÄRZTE, among others. In the film and advertising sector, he has worked several times with Hamburg-based director Fatih Akin.
Since 2021, he has been working closely with Hamburg-based director Mable Preach as a stage designer. He designed the sets for the Schauspiel Hannover productions K(NO)W BLACK HEROES and I AM.WE ARE for the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons.
