Alice Shchutska

Alice Shchutska, born in 2003 in Odessa, Ukraine. She began studying English language and interpreting at the Izmail University of Humanities straight after leaving school.
After the war began, Alice fled to Germany. There she learnt German, worked as a choreographer at the Danzon dance school in Tübingen, was a permanent member of the Schleudergang and Saltantes dance groups, taught ballet at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen, gave piano lessons and played concerts with the Viktor Jara Orchestra. In Tübingen, Alice also studied English and sport to become a teacher.
Alice currently lives in Zurich and is studying acting at the ZHdK in her 3rd semester. After the first semester, she was already on stage at the Schauspielhaus Zurich and was part of the production ‘Romeo & Juliet’ (director: Bonn Park).
She can also be seen in the film ‘Als ob die Welt tanzt’ (directed by Mario di Carlo), which was shown at the Ludwigshafen Film Festival this year.
