A strangely mixed film crew shoots an erotic costume film in the French provinces. When director Valentin is found lifeless in a forest pit, the police begin to investigate. Regardless, filming continues, but it's getting more and more whimsical. And Robin, the director's cameraman and lover, runs off to make good on a promise.
