CHF 20/10* per show


The Schauspielhaus Zürich wants theatre to be accessible to all. In addition to numerous existing and new discounts, from the 2019/2020 season we will also be offering a fixed contingent of seat tickets for each performance, which will cost only CHF 20/10* and are primarily intended for those visitors* who do not benefit from any further discounts. These tickets are available to all. As long as available.

*Reduced price (Children up to 16 years, students, Culture Legi, IV card)


Pay as much as you want

Once a month, visitors pay whatever they want for selected performances. Tickets are available directly at the theatre box office, by telephone (044 258 77 77), by e-mail (theatrekasse [at] schauspielhaus.ch) or via the ticket form on the website. If you have a seat preference, you can let us know. We will fulfil your wish as far as possible.

The corresponding performances are marked by the tag "Pay what you want" in our calendar.


Theatre Monday

All tickets for performances on a Monday are available at half price. Theatre Monday applies to all venues and all own performances. There is no additional Legi discount. For performances that are not sold out, Legi cardholders can purchase tickets from the evening box office on Theatre Mondays for CHF 18. Theatre monday is supported by Migros Kulturprozent.


Discounts for children, students and KulturLegi owners

Children, students and owners of a KulturLegi card from Caritas can purchase all tickets at half price in the advance ticket sale with the exception of the family play. At the evening box office, 30 minutes before the show starts, all seats are available for just CHF 18. These seats are allocated automatically. You must display your Legi card when purchasing the tickets at the box office and when entering the venue.


Offer for families with low income

Families with a low income can attend the Schauspielhaus at a reduced price. Please contact the box office at 044 258 77 77. This offer is supported by private patrons of the Schauspielhaus Zürich.


Offer for refugees

People with residence status F and N as well as protection status S and Sans-Papiers can reserve a free theater ticket for all the Schauspielhaus stagings and guest performances via mail to theaterkasse@schauspielhaus.ch. These free tickets are financed by private patrons of the Schauspielhaus Zürich.


IV-ID Card

With an IV-ID Card, you are entitled to a 50% discount on regular prices for advance ticket sales and at the evening box office. The discount applies to all seat categories and performances. You must display your IV-ID Card when purchasing the ticket and when entering the venue.


AHV-ID Card

With an AHV-ID Card, you are entitled to a 50% discount on all performances on a Sunday afternoon.


Protection status S

People with "protection status S" can reserve a free theatre ticket via mail to theaterkasse@schauspielhaus.ch.


Carte Blanche

Your personal Carte Blanche is included for free as part of the Tages-Anzeiger subscription, and entitles you to a 20% discount on selected performances at the Schauspielhaus Zürich.

hellozurichPpass

With the hellozurichPass you get a 20% discount on all repertory performances of the Schauspielhaus Zürich, except for premieres, Theatre Mondays and guest performances.


Groups

Groups of 10 people or more are entitled to a 10% discount on the standard ticket price; groups of 20 people or more receive a 15% discount. Only one discount per purchase.


Gift Voucher

You may purchase gift vouchers for an amount of your choice from the theatre box office or at www.schauspielhaus.ch. The vouchers are valid for ten years from the date of purchase.


Zürcher Kantonalbank Seat Upgrade

Clients of the Zürcher Kantonalbank benefit from an exclusive seat upgrade for a maximum of two tickets per performance. For example, you could be sitting in the best available first category seats, but only be paying the price for second category seats. For the upgrade you must have an account with Zürcher Kantonalbank. For the legitimation please show the ZKB bank card at the entrance. Tickets with seat upgrade can be purchased in the webshop, by phone or directly at the box office. Theater mondays and premieres are excluded from the ZKB benefits.


Zürich Card

With the Zürich Card, visitors benefit from a 10% discount on a theatre ticket.


Tickets for Schools

Please understand that we have to set limits on the number of schoolchildren attending each performance. These are defined by the size of the auditorium.

Zurich City

For school classes from the city of Zurich, the city covers ticket costs. You can register and view performance dates on the VSZ Intranet.

Zurich Canton

For cantonal primary schools, the price includes use of the ZVV network. You can book tickets and view performance dates at www.schuleundkultur.zh.ch

Outside of the Zurich Canton

Reduced prices apply for schools outside the Zurich Canton.

Special Tickets for Teachers and Groups

Teachers and groups benefit from special conditions when coming to see our productions. Performance dates available at www.schauspielhaus.ch.
