Rabea Lüthi

Rabea Lüthi (they/them/none) was born in Basel in 1997. Rabea sees herself as an actor and performer and will complete their acting studies at the Akademie für Darstellende Kunst Baden-Württemberg in summer 2024. Before that, they already gained 11 years of stage experience at the junges theater basel. 2020 was Rabea's feature film debut in the main cast of "Sami, Joe and Me" at the Zurich Film Festival, which can now also be seen on Netflix Switzerland. In addition to commercial and short film productions such as "Heartbeat" by Michèle Flury, Rabea has also appeared in radio plays and audio books for Swiss Radio Television. In summer 2023, the satirical film "Clashing Differences" by Merle Grimme premiered at the Munich Film Festival, in which Rabea is also part of the main cast. The film can now also be seen in the ZDF and Arte media libraries. In the theater, Rabea was last seen in the play development "SPACE DUDES-Einmal Hin und Zurück" at the Sophiensaele in Berlin, and in revivals in Bochum at the Junges Schauspielhaus in the play "SPLASH-un/coming of age". Both were collaborations with the queer-feminist theater collective Henrike Iglesias.
